Ingredients
- 150 g dark chocolate
- 40 g roasted pecans (approximately 20 halves)
- ¼ cup maple syrup
Directions
- Coat the pecans in maple syrup, if desired, and place them on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
- Bake the pecans at 350°F (175°C) for 10 minutes or until lightly toasted. Remove from the oven and set aside to cool.
- Melt the chocolate of your choice using a double boiler or microwave, stirring occasionally until smooth and fully melted.
- Pour chocolate into circular chocolate molds, filling each mold halfway. Gently shake to distribute evenly.
- Place one roasted pecan half in the center of each chocolate mold, pressing it lightly into the chocolate.
- Place the chocolate molds in the refrigerator and let them chill for at least 1 hour, or until the chocolate is fully set.
- Carefully unmold the treats and enjoy.
